King's GM throws tantrum

The Waiting is the Hardest Part

In a recent press conference, GM Chuck got very defensive. The question was raised about the performance of the Kings and the lack of moves to bring the team to a competitive level. GM Chuck replied with the following Rant before storming out.

I never said it would be easy. There was never a time frame announced. We are building from within. We are promoting from the bottom up. Management has the expansion covered. We will retain our young core.

It is always hard to not sell the farm. We all want to win. Fans like us to be competitive. This is not about being “just” competitive. It is about being a top team. Period!

Yes we may be losing now, but we are also trying to keep things fun in the meantime. Marty Moose night with free admission tickets to Wally World. The Turkey and Ham shoots.

We have numerous prospects on the verge of moving up to the TUFHL and into the BIG leagues.

In the littles:

Marco Rossi is tearing it up. He is a point per Game in the “A”. The kid has great wheels, and plays both ends.

Alex Laferriere is doing well. The kid is fearless. He relishes the physical game and drives the net hard. Smart guy. He has 24 points in 26 games for Harvard. Do you know how smart you have to be to get into Harvard? That comes out in his game.

Players like Madden and Fagemo both putting out about every other game and sporting a positive Plus/Minus

We have Mikey A who is playing solid in the “N”. He is sporting a plus 10 in 47 games.

Kaliyev is holding his own in the “N”.

We already have Haydn on the big club shutting down the opposition sporting a plus 3. That is a top 100 D. Maybe even a top 75.

There are a lot of things to be positive about with this Franchise. We are heading in the right direction. Just wait ... just you wait ... you'll see!

Seems like the pressure is getting to him.
