Rebuild Year Ahead For Penguins?

The offseason is not far off and with some of their bigger names moved on through trade and free agency over the last couple seasons, the Penguins look very much like a team in rebuild mode. Crosby and Connor, gone. Letang, gone.  GM Perry Way has a busy offseason ahead. A few years of retooling, yet missing the playoffs, the Pens are likely to move a lot of moves this offseason. Who remains when the season begins and who is added via trades and signings is a mystery. Will it be a quick rebuild or a lengthy one? 2025-2026 will certainly be a transition year for this team.
