Florida Hires a New GM

It has been about a year or so since the last time Justin Stocks, or Juice, thought about TUFHL or hockey in general.  He had to step away from the reigns of the then Arizona Coyotes, for personal reasons.  But, today, he was hired back as a GM, this time, for the Florida Panthers.  And he is already starting to make some moves.

On coming back to the TUFHL:

"Yeah, it's been good being able to catch up with old friends and try to follow where current players are now.  After having to step away, I'm just glad the Commish was willing to reinstate my status as GM.  It's good to be back!".

On potential moves:

"We've made a couple of moves already.  Have some more discussions ongoing.  There's interest there, both in our players, and the players were targetting.  We just need to make sure it's a good move for both teams before moving forward.  Most of the players have been informed that they're in play and potentially moving to another team before the start of the season.  Some are happy, others aren't, but it's just business and they understand the nature of the beast".

On the draft:

"We're excited.  We have the 9th OV pick and after a recent trade, the 18th OV pick as well.  We have some names we're targetting and hoping they're still on the board when it's our turn.  If not, we'll look to see if we can move farther back or trade the picks.  But we won't know until it's our turn".

Justin is known for constantly trading, so it'll be interesting to see what trades he has lined up and to see if he can turn this team around.  Get your popcorn buckets ready, because Juice is back!
