Columbus pulls off two wins against Detroit

With two games coming up against the same opponent, Columbus and Detroit are going to get to know one another pretty well.  The second game being played outside at Ohio State University - as part of the NHL Stadium Series.

The first game was pretty close, shots were 31 to 28, a slight edge to Columbus... Final score was 4-2 for CBJ, with the forth goal coming on an empty net.  Scoring for CBJ came from defensemen only, as 2 goals were scored by Z. Werenski and 2 goals were scored by J. Middleton.  For Detroit, T. Bertuzzi had a solid performance, involved in the game from the drop of the puck.

March 1 -- Columbus Blue Jackets vs Detroit Red Wings - Ohio Stadium

In a similar game to the one previously, the score perhaps did not match the effort, as Columbus was able to put 5 past M. Subban and only 1 was scored against F. Andersen.  Shots were 31 for CBJ to 28 for Det.  Scoring for CBJ was a bit more spread out, as Tarasenko, Gourde and Middleton contributed.  For Detroit, another strong showing for T. Bertuzzi.

Next up for CBJ?  The Tampa Bay Lightning
