IT'S ONLY JUST BEGUN

Vegas Eliminated from plays and that's OK
6/8/2022 • Steve White

Well the season didn’t end with the Vegas Knights going on a miracle run and winning the Tufhl Cup but what did happen was Vegas sent a clear message to the rest of the league that they are not a easy 2 points any more. With a little attention to detail and a few line changes, the Vegas Golden Knights went from 27th overall last season to making the playoffs this year. This happened despite trade after trade that saw the Knights shipping out valuable assets for even more valuable future assets.

Vegas has thirteen (13) picks coming up in the next draft including three 1st rounders. The leading scorer was a rookie in Kaprizov and there is a ton of talent coming in for next year including but not limited to: Boldy, Jarvis, Krebs and Tomisano. This combination of young talent and solid picks will make this already successful franchise a force to be reckoned with for years to come. You can expect a savvy GM like Steve to make the most of his draft choices and you can bet he  will be searching for there next diamond in the rough.

At the exit meetings Gm White was asked what he thought of future of the Knights. White went record saying “Well the future is a lot brighter than Rainville’s Habs that’s for sure, They went all in and for what to win 1 game in 2nd round. We are young and growing every year we will be dominating the Habs as early as next year!!! Let’s just hope the Remi can keep that aging team together enough to put some of a fight next year in this rivalry.”

After being defeated in 5 the first round. The fans in Vegas have high expectations and the pressure is on. Vegas wants the cup and it starts with the draft. This season was a fantastic ride for the Knights and they only expect things to get better. Can they get there?
