Anaheim, CA.
With the TUFHL trade deadline just over a month away, the Anaheim Ducks had some decisions to make and with a rebuild on the horizon, the Ducks marked the first step towards that rebuild yesterday with a couple of trades.
Ducks traded start forward Kevin Fiala to the Panthers in exchance for a couple of top D prospects and 2nd and 5th round pick. Fiala was getting tired of the mediocrity that as plagued this team last few years and wanted out.
In a second move the Ducks also flipped veteran Chandler Stephenson to the Habs for Scott Laughton, D prospect Jake Furlong and 2nd round pick.
According to the Ducks GM, this will help restock the system and also get a few high picks to add for this coming draft.
Will there be more moves ? at this point I would say it's Duck Season. :)
