Did we turn the ship around?

To say this season is a disappointment is an understatement...at least, until now?  After being fed up with all the losses, a trade target was put on McDavid that seemed to piss him off and drive him to the greatness he is capable of.

After McDavid earning the 1st Star Last week by driving his team to be at .500, 4 game win streak, while outscoring the opponents 18-7 and 2 points outside a wildcard spot - with 28 games remaining, we believe the Oilers are going to make the post season and will make some noise.

We got a bit of a jump on the trade deadline and brought back 2 pieces we feel will help the organization now and in the future...hopefully in the post-season and beyond.  Marcus Johansson will help the bottom 6 and has the experience and leadership to be able to play up and down the lineup.  Arber Xhekaj will bring some extra depth to the blueline and will be able to help the Condors out, if needed.
