The first 4-way trade in TUFHL history has happened. This momentous trade involves the New Jersey Devils, Carolina Hurricanes, Vegas Golden Knights, and Arizona Coyotes.
New Jersey has been active on the trade front. They turned prime David Pastrnak and the talented Russian prospect Daniil Gushchin into a nightmare fuel for the rest of the league. Trading those two assets, they ended up acquring defensive stud Justin Faulk, prospects William Wallinder, Liam Bischel, Matyas Sapovaliv, and two 1sts (Nashville and New Jersey). The Devils now own a staggering SEVEN 1st round picks in the coming draft. The future definitely looks bright for them.
The Hurricanes gave up young star Elias Pettersson and William Wallinder, but in return, secured the services of the highly coveted David Pastrnak.
Vegas came into the trade looking to make their mark. They traded away Justin Faulk, and superstar in the making Trevor Zegras. In return, they acquired Elias Pettersson and prospect Daniil Gushchin.
Arizona had been looking to re-acquire Zegras for a few months and the stars aligned, although they paid a steep price. To acquire the young sniper, the Coyotes gave up prospects Liam Bischel, Matyas Sapovaliv, and two 1st rounders.
