NJ confirmed another massive trade early this morning, with the Boston Bruins. Gone is franchise center Dylan Larkin. In are 2023 1st round picks Danielson and Yurov along with former 1st round pick John Beecher.
This is days after NJ traded the heavyweight Arber Xhekaj to Minny for 2023 1st round pick Simashev, a monster of a defenseman in his own right.
Prior to that, Debrusk was shipped for a 1st and 2nd round pick in 2024.
NJ now has 8 1st round picks in 2024 and 4 2nd round picks in 2024. In addition, top prospects like Byfield, Edvinsson, Danielson, Yurov, Simashev, Michkov, and others provide this team with a massive boost in future star power.
What is exciting is NJ is still a team that can battle for a #6-8 playoff slot as well and bully a few teams along the way with fighting ability. It's a win win!
