The Red Wings have had crazy start to the 1st half of the season. They'll go on a winning streak only to go on a bigger losing streak.
The Wings have had a monster year from rookie Leo Carlsson whos managed to post 53 points in 55 games so far. He currently leads this team in goals and should hopefully come close to the 40 goal mark and hopefully 70 point mark.
A bright spot for the team is they are getting points from their defenders. 3 of their top 5 point producers are all defenders. Seider continues to look like a huge bright spot on this team who's lacking some star power. Luke Hughes has been holding his own as well as a rookie and him and Seider should continue to build on that partnership for years to come.
Detroit should continue to be in the bottom 3rd of the league standings and should hopefully get another top prospect to add to this rebuilding franchise. The Wings will for sure be looking to ship out veterans prior to the deadline.
