The Season End is Near

The post-season does not look to be in the cards this year...silver lining, a shot at a top 10 quality pick in the upcoming, stacked Draft, which is projected to be one of the best in years.

Upgrading the top 6 was a priority we felt we needed for this group and we added 2 key pieces after the Christmas break and before the trade deadline ended.  Andre Burakovsky and Jaden Schwartz, with word that contract negotiations have begun with the hopes to have Jaden signed for a few years.

GM Cameron said "Despite falling below .500, we still feel we made the right decision hiring Dave Hakstol and we striongly believe he will be back behind the bench for the first puck-drop of next season.  There is still a few games left and a wild card spot is not far out of reach, so we will see how the season ends."

Some priorities for this club in the off-season will include re-signing Brady Skjei, and upgrading the defence core, along with an upgrade in net.  The bottom-six will need an upgrade via Free Agency if we still have some gaps after bringing up some players from the Farm.
