State of the Hurricanes

In the offseason a new GM took over and instantly made his mark!! The Canes made multiple trades in the first couple weeks that saw multiple superstars get traded away! The top of the list would be Hischier and Draisaitl.  While some might have questioned the moves, with the pieces that were acquired the Canes were eventually able to fill their roster with Brad Marchand, David Pastrnak, Charlie McAvoy and Darcy Kuemper, just to name a few!

The moves have paid off as they sit comfortably in 2nd in the metro and their top 6 are finding success as they have two forwards in the top 10 in goal scoring.

The new GM is enjoying the success of the team so far and is hoping that translates to playoff success!
