NJ Devils Pivot Strategy during offseason

What is going on?
9/1/2023 • Alex Devils

Heading into Free Agency, New Jersey appeared to have one of the absolute top contending rosters in the TUFHL. There were few teams with as many superstars in all positions. A few weeks later and you’d never recognize this team! However, that doesn’t mean the front office is forfeiting the season by any means. The team is still respectable with the following expected line up as of today:

Hall 74 – Kopitar 80 – Pastrnak 84

Copp 72 – Larkin 79 – Debrusk 76

Pezzetta 68 – Bergeron 77 – Jarvis 71

Johnston 62 – Krejci 74 - Bellemare 67’

McAvoy 78 – Durzi 73

Bouchard 73 – Chiarot 73

Clifton 72 – Xhekaj 70

Kuemper 82

Schmid 78

In addition, the future of the organization has completely shifted. The team now holds FIVE 1st round picks in the upcoming draft. They have also added premium prospects such as Quinton Byfield, Simon Edvinsson, Matvei Michkov, Nick Moldenhauer, and Caedan Bankier. This team is now ready for a refreshed look and a final kick at the Cup after last seasons upsetting defeat at the hands of the eventual well deserving Cup Winning Montreal Canadiens. They also feature 8 fighters on the starting roster so other teams will be rather timid. Good luck this season!
