Maple Leafs New GM

Maple Leafs President Brendan Shanahan has gone to Arizona to find his new GM.   John Fitzsimmons has been named as the new GM of the Toronto Maple Leafs.  Fitzsimmons comes to the Leafs with an "old school" mentality.

"I got the call from Shanny on the golf course.  They wanted to bring me end to put an end to this misery in Leafs Nation".  " I told them I thought the "Core Group" was solid but needed some fine tuning".   " The Leaf fans deserve better".  " We will be aggressive in trades to put us over that hump". 

It will be interesting to see what type of moves Fitzy has in mind.  Stay tuned.
