Leafs Land new GM

Toronto, Ontario -  Historic franchise, The Toronto Maple Leafs hire veteran GM Stefan Fancey to lead the Leafs to the promise land. GM Fancey comes to the TUFHL with experience in the BNFHL ( 9 seasons ), NHL2/ NHL3  for a combined 4 seasons, and the U30 league. With multiple rebuilds and multiple Stanly Cup Final appearances, He hopes to continue his good fortune in yet another league.

When asked what he thinks of his new team he responded, " Well growing up living and breathing the Montreal Canadiens franchise, it was a difficult decision to take on the role of GM on their biggest rivalry. But with a solid core of veterans and young talent, I feel I made the right decision for my next quest for Lord Stanly's Cup. "

Looking at Fancey's track record, He is a very active GM always looking for the next trade, and no players are "safe". Play well and stick around, start to slump and its hit the road.

This reporter especially, looks forward to see what Fancey does  this off season to add some bottom 6 forwards and hopefully do what his predecessor Dubas couldn’t do, and get out of the first round ! Until then, Media and Fans will be scrutinizing every move.
