Gm White had a busy off season bringing in some star power in the likes of Kopitar, Connor, Kuznetsov, Rust up front and Faulk and Pelech on the back end. The dividends have been mediocre so far as the team sits 3rd in division. The Knights Coaching staff will continue to tinker until the right formula is found.
The Knights don’t have a rookie in the Calder race this year but that doesn’t mean the cupboards are bare. Another youth infusion is coming next season when Peterka, Kuzmenko, Holmberg among others will turn pro at seasons end.
White will continue to monitor the team over the next month or so to see if any more changes have to be made before the deadline to make sure the Knights have the all the pieces in place to humiliate Remi and hood rats (HABS) and finishing ahead of them in standings at the end of the year.
