The Flyers land in Columbus to begin the 2023-2024 season

The Off Season

It was at the 2023 draft where things turned in a new direction for the Blue Jackets.  A potential young star for the team; forward Troy Terry was traded to the Vegas Golden Knights for two first round draft picks in the 2023 draft.   This was just the start, as the team's leader and key defenseman Seth Jones was shipped out to Vegas for E. Kane, T. Sanheim and a prospect.  Next on the list was forward Boone Jenner; again Columbus hooked up with another Pacific Division team in the Calgary Flames to land Kasperi Kapanen and a 2024 first round pick.

Centre Jordan Staal and defenceman Zach Werenski are now your team leaders.  Goaltending was switched up, again with another trade... Korpisalo out, Logan Thompson in.

2023-2024 Season

The Flyers will be the opposition on game 1.  Followed by the New York Rangers, Detroit Red Wings and the Calgary Flames (potential goaltending switch-a-roo, head to head match up).  If Columbus goes 0 for 4 at home to start the season, who knows what will happen next.
