At Nationwide Arena for Four
Columbus, with seven games remaining in the season are in the middle of a 4-game home stand. After playing Pittsburgh back-2-back, it was the 4th overall Colorado Avalanche that came to town and won pretty easily. The Blue Jackets had no answer for Buchnevich, MacKinnon and E. Karlsson. Young goalie D. Hildeby started in goal, but was chased out about half way through the second period. Columbus has been giving Hildeby some tough games to evaluate the player; as Schmid has been day-2-day with a nagging injury. On a positive side for Columbus, Andrew Copp (picked up in a trade earlier in the year) has helped with some needed offense.
Next up for Columbus: New York Islanders followed by the Philadelphia Flyers.
Great seats still available.
