Another year of no playoffs

2/26/2025 • Patrick Michael

The Nashville Predator’s find themselves in the same place as last season,  Rebuilding to be competitive but the fans are starting to get impatient.  With another projected top 5 pick this season and 3 more in the 1st round restocking the cupboards will be happening or the picks will be used to trade for players to help now.

With Thomas Harley anchoring the D and the emergence of Will Smith the future does look good.  There are more players in the pipeline but lack of offence is evident in the current makeup of the team.

Expect GM Patrick to be active in the off season and in FA but there seems to be a lack of top end FA hitting the market this year.  The fans may put up with another year of not making the playoffs but that will be it.   So the strategy may require a couple years of FA signings to make it work.
