Detroit's Son Has Come Back

The Red Wings are proud to welcome GM Francisco Valle back to the fold.

Back to the fold you ask? Yes, he was the first person to join the very first TUFHL back in the day aside from the Blake Brothers. I had built a very strong young and up-and-coming team that would be a force for the next 10 years but the league folded and with it, all the hard work Valle had put into his Wings. 

Valle does have his hands full this time around, but not being here for the first year of the league and the first draft delays what he has planned by a season as he would have loved to put his touch in the Wings first draft. 

Defense

The Red Wings have a gem in the form of Moritz Seider who looks to be the real deal and could be the best defender prospect in the Wings organization since the great #5. Look for him to be heavily relied on in the coming years while this organization gets back to it's glory years. 

The Red Wings already have Filip Hronek already in the fold and is turning into a solid top-pairing defender. The organization is hoping some of it's more recent picks turn out to be solid top 4 defenders like Jared McIsaac, Albert Johansson, and Dennis Cholowski. 

Veterans like Dekeyser and Nemeth will be heavily relied on to bring in the younger defenders but could be moved come deadline for futures. 

Offense

GM Valle will be searching for young cheap talent to bring in via trades but most of the hard work will come via the draft.

Recent 9th overall pick Jack Quinn looks to be a solid start to bring in some scoring in the coming years. In his last season in the OHL he was able to put up 52 goals! Look for him to be a huge impact within the next 2 seasons. 

Another former 1st round pick Filip Zadina looks to finally be gaining former that made him hot commodity and if he can pan out will give the Red Wings another young weapon.

Like recent seasons Coach Blashill will heavily rely on captain Dylan Larkin and alternate captain Tyler Bertuzzi. 

Goaltending 

This is a huge weak spot within the organization as we don't have a top goalie in the pipeline and will look to address this soon. 

Bernier will be taking on the majority of the workload again this season and the backup position is still up for grabs. 

Outlook

The Red Wings will definitely be a bottom feeder yet again and look for them to have a top pick in next year's draft.
