Big Trouble in the Big Apple ???

The Rangers Started the season on the right foot and had a very strong Record.   But as of late they have been floating a barely above 500 record.  Look no further to their 6-4 record in the last 10 games,  even worse is they  are  0-3  in their last  3 !!     Rangers GM  Steph Loyer is not content with where the team sits currently and knows to contend in a strong Eastern conference that some changes might need to be made. 

GM Loyer pulled no punches , during a press conference after the teams last loss: 

“If the last couple of games , is any example of what needs to be changed, its pretty clear.     Our top players need to be our top players, and that just isn’t the case right now.   Our forward depth and strong defense corps are what is keeping us afloat for right now, but  we can’t depend  on that every game.  Bottom line is  players like Zibanejad and Panarin  need to start showing up for us every game. “

The GM naming names, is a sure sign of frustrations and we can expect some potential big moves coming up if things don’t turn around soon.

GM Loyer had this to add:

“ Not saying we need to sell the farm but shifting some key players for potential upgrades is something I will not shy away from.    With the deadline quickly approaching , you can bet I’ll be working the phones to get this team to the top once again ! “ 

The deadline is only a few weeks away and GM Loyer has always snuck in some late deals and it would be interesting to see what happens again this year.   Do they tear down the walls, or simply do some redecorating ?
